We present the Loch Glashan Crannog Brooch!
You may have noticed our interest in the Loch Glashan Crannog as its where our iconic Crannog bag comes from 😉 
Well, there were other significant finds, and we finally have these Stunning replica pennanular brooches made for us by Adam at blue axe reproductions. 
These brooches are such a lovely replica, 34mm in diameter, cast in copper alloy and inset with Amber identical to the original. Adam has really done justice to the find, and we couldn't be more pleased at how beautiful these are!
The brooch is dated approx 8/9th century, and so fits perfectly within our early medieval context. So spruce up your kit with these wee beaties, they especially go well with our Crannog bags 😉
